MTSU Journalism Event:

In the College of Media and Entertainment Building at Middle Tennessee State University, an event for all journalism students was held on the second floor at 6:30 p.m..The director of the program and a professor discussed what the students’ career goals are, how they can achieve it and offer opportunities pertaining to on campus activities.

Overall, the director gave some great advice, as to how one can take a minor in Political Science with a major in Journalism and not sign up for a second minor. If you are a journalism student and attend this university, I highly encourage you to take the time to meet with the director and discuss the importance of your major and what it takes to get a job after graduation.
